About Villa Ban Kao

Villa Ban Kao is a ground-level, three-structure villa with a compact layout and a predominantly minimalist theme. A quick inspection reveals that the entire villa has, perhaps quite intentionally, been furnished only with essential, yet stylish and comfortable, appointments. The interiors are, as well, clean with few but novel decorative pieces. Overall, such an approach has created for the villa spacious and airy rooms and areas. Villa Ban Kao truly demonstrates that simplicity isn’t just beauty. But enjoyment and relaxation as well.

Outdoor And Pool Area

Surrounded by the villa’s cluster of buildings is the swimming pool. Jump right in and leisurely splash about or wade around all you want. Out of the water, you can lazily lounge on the foldable pool beds set up at one wing of the covered terrace.

The Living Area

Housed inside the middle building is the living area. On its large, cushioned couches you can all hang out to catch your favorite TV show or engage in conversation and storytelling. Just a few steps away is the dining area. With a design that matches the furnishings of the living area, the table and chairs can comfortably accommodate six. Here, a delicious vacation menu – which you yourself or the resident chef put together – can be served right from the fully-equipped modern kitchen. Separating the dining area and the kitchen is a counter. Provided with stools following the overall furniture design, it can double as a bar where drinks for your outdoor billiards tournament, as well as for refreshments, cocktails and after-dinner winding down, can be poured out or mixed.

The Bedrooms

There are three bedrooms situated at both wings of the villa. One bedroom has a dedicated bathroom with a shower and tub. Two other bedrooms share one bathroom with a shower. Two bedrooms also open out to the covered terrace on both sides of the pool.

Staff And Services

Although the villa’s staff can assist with the cooking, a chef may be called in upon your request. Laundry and massage services may also be arranged. All these, however, will be charged separately. A car, a boat and a scooter are also available for rent.

Around Villa Ban Kao

The villa is on Bang Kao Beach at the southeast coast of Koh Samui. There is no shopping or nightlife here – just serene and untouched powdery white-sand shores that look out to the islands of Koh Matsum and Koh Taen. Nearby, however, are eco-attractions such as the Butterfly Farm, the Samui Aquarium and the Tiger Zoo. Another must-see is the ancient pagoda – the most beautiful spot on the island that’s perfect for picnics.
