WOW! What an exceptional villa for a wonderful extended family getaway. We stayed at the Yupa Villa 1 for Christmas and New Years and it was more then we had hoped for. We had three couples and four children (age range from 1 year old to 12 years old). Yupa Villa 1 was perfect for us all. We had our own rooms with exceptional facilities in each room. Every room also had aircon which was pleasurable in the humidity. The communal kitchen/living area was fabulous with everything a family needed (the aircon did not work in this area but the fans saved us). The main reason the facilities gets 4 stars is due to the extremely slippery tiles around the pool. This was a hazard for us but we laid down some towels and resolved the issue. Our concierge Ryan was friendly and welcomed us. He was also extremely easy to contact and had open communication with us. The location was everything we were after. We are a family of 'walkers' so were happy to walk the 15 minutes to the Big C supermarket and the 40 minute walk to the Fishermans Village Friday night markets (a must do if visiting Koh Samui). For the times we did not want to walk accessing taxi's via the main road was also very easy. Alternatively, whenever we needed to be picked up from the villa for a tour the tour company's had no problem accessing us and collecting us directly for Yupa Villa 1. As we were travelling with children we came across the 'Fun House' which is just around the corner for Yupa Villa 1 (10min walk) and this place was fantastic. It was a café and play house for the children all in one. The adults could sit and enjoy a reasonably priced meal while our children played in a supervised play area. The play area was clean and provided great entertainment for the children. This villa was one of the more affordable villa's during the festive season and it is 100% value for money!! We could not have been happier with our holiday and stay at the Yupa Villa 1. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
