Elephant Beach Club

Elephant Beach Club checks off all the right boxes for a hip beachfront venue: uninterrupted ocean views, lively hip-hop and RnB tunes, fun-filled events through the week and an extensive food and beverage menu. The party schedule is fairly busy here, with pool, hip-hop and deep house parties every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday – and when visitors aren’t letting their hair down at a party, they’re likely to be enjoying one of the many fashion or music events held at this trendy venue.

Nikki Beach Samui

Fine and fancy Nikki Beach Samui occupies a prime location along Lipa Noi Beach. This chic beach club boasts a pretty setting – guests will find an array of daybeds, stylish sun umbrellas and a sparkling pool within a vast and spacious compound. Apart from a gorgeous setting, Nikki Beach Samui also dishes up a diverse array of tasty treats, such as crisp salads, sushi, seafood side dishes and refreshing beverages. Ocean Club at Beach Republic

Splashes of red, found in the furnishings and ornaments of this beachside lounge enliven its chic setting. The glistening infinity pool provides an undeniable attraction for sun seekers in the heat of the tropics. After taking a cool respite in its refreshing waters, climb out of the pool for a feast of delectable tapas, cocktails and mocktails. Beachside lounging does not get better than this!

Tropics Beach Club

Tropics Beach Club is part of the Lub d Koh Samui Hostel Complex. The amenities this beach club offers is top notch. A swimming pool with floaties? Check. Net hammocks overlooking the ocean? Check. Music and live entertainment? Check. On top of that, Tropics Beach Club provides great food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Happy hour is between 5 pm to 6 pm. At night, the club comes alive, with awesome light shows. Be on the lookout for night discounts, as the place gives a lot of those, too.

The Beach Club at Shiva Samui

Enjoying a quiet location along the shores of Laem Set, The Beach Club will make you feel like you’re worlds away from the crowds. This enviable seafront venue offers plentiful perks, like a swim-up bar, access to a wide array of beach toys, freeform pool, numerous sun loungers and a thatched-roof beach bar, making the perfect hangout from day till night.

Armando’s Beach Restaurant

The dual Swiss-Thai flag by the door might confuse you at first, but give this eatery a chance, because you won’t regret it. As the flags suggest, Armando’s is a Swiss-Thai fusion restaurant, serving authentic food of each country. In the Thai menu, the favourites are the papaya salad, any of the curry dishes, prawns and whole snapper. In the Swiss corner, the pork schnitzel is the best-seller. The place serves a range of cocktails, too. It is best to come during late afternoon and nighttime, as it offers a different atmosphere than during the day.

The Beach House

Part of the Santiburi Resort, The Beach House offers Thai dishes, as well as international ones. Whether you sit by the bar or by the sand, you are guaranteed a great dining experience.  Surf and turf dishes are always a winner here, as they are freshly made. Between the phenomenal view, the exceptional service, and the cracking cocktails, you will keep coming back to this establishment, located by the quiet northern coast of Koh Samui island.

No Stress

Just as its name suggests, No Stress exudes a laidback vibe that’ll set you at ease the moment you step into the venue. You’ll have everything you need for a relaxed day along the beach: sun loungers, patio umbrellas, fluffy towels, ice-cold beers, cocktails, coconuts and more. The menu throws out plenty of options for noshing too – from salads and mussel dishes, to heartier baguette sandwiches, grilled meat or seafood mains and good ol’ Thai classics like pineapple fried rice.

Nature Bar

Although the place is a little more challenging to find, Nature Bar is worth the mini treasure hunt. This family-run business is something of a hidden gem to regular visitors, owing to its delicious food. Whether you buy seafood dishes, curries, pizzas, or just a couple of cocktails, the staff treat you the same; with great care. With happy hours between 4pm–6pm, you can enjoy your cocktail while watching the sunset, with your toes in the sand.

Secret Garden Restaurant & Beach Bar

The family-friendly Secret Garden Beach Cafe welcomes a crowd of vacation makers and expats with its beachfront setting, relaxed vibes, well-decorated interiors and extensive menu. Apart from an ample selection of tasty Thai and European fare, guests with a hearty appetite can expect to feast on an array of beach barbecue and buffet feasts on the specials nights of the cafe.

Amaya Bar

Settle down snugly into a cosy spot in the well-furnished Amaya Bar. This seaside bar is a cool and classy spot for vacation makers to chill out and catch the mesmerising tropical sunsets. Arrive just in time for the happy hour, and you can take your pick from an extensive drink menu. It may be hard to stop at one, for Amaya Bar’s selection of intriguing sundowners are sure to hit a sweet spot.

Swing Bar

Swing Bar derives its name from its quirky setting. Guests who arrive at the bar will find swing-like seats held by sturdy ropes dangling off the ceiling, and set sight on well-appointed interiors exuding a rustic vibe. At nightfall, diners can look forward to a good playlist of dance music, as well as a selection of nibbles and drinks served in vodka baskets. Coco Tam's Samui

Emerald Irish Bar & Restaurant

If you’re looking for a hearty meal, this place is for you. Located right in the middle of Fisherman’s Village, it serves good Irish pub food. The clear favourite is the Sunday Roast, where you can choose between chicken, lamb, or pork for the protein. Its generous portion, coupled with a cold pint of Guinness brings a familiar homely feel away from home for Irish visitors. The beach view adds a coastal holiday flair to the homely atmosphere.
