Villa Karpe Diem is the kind of luxury holiday rental that makes you stop scrolling, then immediately start picturing your next family escape to Chaweng beach. It’s a crisp, modern hillside home with layers of terraces, huge glass walls, and that big blue ocean sitting right in front of you like it was booked for your trip.
What really sells Villa Karpe Diem is the easy flow between indoors and out, plus the feeling of space everywhere you turn. In Chaweng beach, you get the buzz nearby, but here you’re up above it all with a calm, breezy view that stays with you all day.
Villa Karpe Diem has five bedrooms, and they all keep the vibe clean, bright, and quietly stylish. You’ll spot several rooms with dreamy canopy beds, warm wood floors, and big windows that pull the ocean right into the scene, which feels very Chaweng beach in the best way.
A couple of suites go extra roomy with sitting areas, desks, and those sliding glass doors that open onto terraces. Storage is generous too, including a walk-in style wardrobe room with a safety box, so unpacking for a longer holiday feels easy, not chaotic.

The outdoor setup at Villa Karpe Diem is all about that long, cliffside swimming pool aiming straight at the horizon. There are wide pool steps, in-water stools at the ledge, and a big terrace that makes sunrise coffee and late afternoon lounging equally tempting in Chaweng beach.
On the deck you’ve got sun loungers lined up with rolled pool towels, plus shaded seating and an outdoor dining spot under a roofed pavilion. The glass railings keep the sea views uninterrupted, and at night the pool lighting turns the whole area into a seriously good-looking hangout for your group holiday rental.
Inside Villa Karpe Diem, the main living space is airy and social, with double-height ceilings, a big blue sectional, and sliding doors that open wide to the terrace. There’s a wall-mounted TV for downtime, but honestly the ocean view tries to steal the show every time.
The kitchen is sleek and genuinely practical, with glossy black-and-white finishes and a large island with stools, great for snacks and easy breakfasts. It’s a fully equipped kitchen that suits families and groups who like to keep the holiday rhythm relaxed, especially after a day out around Chaweng beach and back.
This is a staffed holiday rental, and you can see the care in the details, from neatly prepared rooms to polished surfaces that keep the whole place feeling fresh. Housekeeping is part of the setup, so your group can focus on swims, views, and deciding who’s making the next coffee.
Villa Karpe Diem also comes with a reassuring layer of security, fitting for a luxury stay up in the hills of Chaweng beach. If you want help tailoring the trip, the Villa Finder Concierge team can sort the practical stuff like airport transfers, car rentals, and local holiday services, so you can just show up and enjoy.
Staying at Villa Karpe Diem puts you close to the energy of Chaweng beach while still feeling nicely removed when you want quiet. Think beach days, quick trips for coffee, and evenings where you can dip back into the action, then retreat to your private terrace and ocean view.
Chaweng beach is also a solid base for exploring Samui’s coast and viewpoints, with plenty of places to eat and shop within an easy drive. Your best plan is simple: do one proper outing a day, then return to the villa for that sunset pool session and a slow dinner with a sea view that makes everyone linger.
10/10We spent 2 nights at the Villa and given the choice we could have stayed there forever ... well almost. The Villa is built over two levels, perched on a hill top with amazing sea views. There are pools on both decks with a gym and jacuzzi on the property. Accommodation consists of 4 large bedrooms with complete privacy. There are no other properties overlooking the villas and we had un-interrupted sea view. The airport pickup and drops were well organised and the guest relations and staff were courteous and helpful. We initially wanted to explore the restaurants but having eaten in house, we dropped the idea completely. Aoy and Met (the house keeper and cook) treated us like royalty. We were treated to the best Thai cusine ever and they even indulged our requests for special dishes not on the menu. The menu itself is extensive. It is very unlikely that guests will eat out, once you have tasted the food here. The staff can cook up a range of starters and none of them fail to deliver. Our personal favorites were Steamed Sea Bass, Soft Shell Curry Crab, Beef Salad and the Steamed Spring rolls. Mango sticky rice for dessert is an absolute must. Overall, the experience was extremely good and I would go there again !!! You should too ... Oh and there was a Pool Table and Wifi (for those of you who want to stay connected)
10/10We went to villa Karpe Diem as a family and it will remain an unforgettable memory for all of us. To live and enjoy the moment , that's what we were looking for. We only stayed for a few days and were really sad to leave this magical place, perched on the hills of Chaweng Noi, between the sea and the sky, with 180 degree ocean view and 2 infinity pools which gave us space and privacy. Everything was thought of for comfort and well-being in this prestigious villa, from a warm welcome to a refined interior design, a gym, spa and massage area, not to mention the deliciousThai cuisine prepared by Aoy and Met which we just couldn't get enough of! A big thank you to both of them for their attention to details and discretion. We will definitely tell our friends and family members and hope to be back next year!
10/10We are spending 5 days here with family, and after just one day, I felt obliged to write a review. The staff are just amazing, we are ending up eating each meal here by the pool. There is a storm on its way, and it’s a bit windy, but th layout of the villa allows us to do all sorts of things and enjoy ourselves to the max. This is a gem of a place, and very close to being in paradise. Having a truly wonderful holiday given we have travelled all the way from Normandy, and recommend it to all our friends and family. It is simply perfect.
