Whether you prefer sipping sundowners along a breezy seafront deck, or sampling an array of innovative fusion dishes in a chic modern setting, these five restaurants serve as excellent date-worthy spots perfect for a romantic night out in Samui:
Love is in the air at Beyond The Sea! Guests here will enjoy a fine dining experience in a classy and cosy setting. Whether you dine indoors or outdoors along the deck, you will be rewarded with unobstructed panoramas of the coast, for the restaurant is bedecked with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. Start the evening with a selection of well-made concoctions from the sleek bar, and pair them up with unique Thai-style tapas such as crispy spiced calamari or a creamy risotto. A selection of irresistible mains, such as lobster with basil or green curry king prawns and scallops will round off your meal on a perfect note.
Seafood lovers out on a romantic night will find Happy Elephant to be a perfect dining spot. Visitors may tuck into a spread in the breezy interiors, or dine by candle light along the sandy shores. A lively buzz fills the air as the night progresses, for the popular restaurant fills up rapidly. Vibrant jazz tunes from a live band adds on to the cheerful atmosphere.
Boasting warm and inviting interiors as well as a variety of Thai, Asian-fusion and Western fare, Nirvana Restaurant & Bar makes for a great spot for a date night. Luxe touches, such as burgundy cushions, velvety drapes and candlelights add a romantic accent to the restaurant. Take a seat along the bar for your evening drink, before making your way to one of the outdoor seats along the deck to enjoy sweeping views of Bophut beach while you wine and dine. For culinary enthusiasts, the best views are indoors, for the open plan kitchen provides them with a fine view of the chefs whipping up a storm. Foodies should not leave without trying Nirvana’s well-loved favourites, such as the peri-peri chicken, chicken massaman curry and green curry.
Feast on a picturesque view made up of towering palms, lush tropical foliage, a sparkling pool and the azure ocean while you wine and dine. At Full Moon Restaurant, diners will tuck into a spread in an elegant and contemporary setting enveloped by a well-landscaped garden. A romantic meal here proves to be an exciting experience for foodies, for they will be spoilt for choices when it comes to deciding on the menu for the night. Will it be a char-grill fusion spread, specialty seafood dishes, or exotic fare combining European, Thai and Japanese flavours?
Dip your toes in the sand, breathe in the salty sea breeze and indulge in a wonderful spread of Italian cuisine at Gusto’s. Set in a charming shophouse overlooking the sea, guests can occupy a seat indoors in a spacious environment, or dine outdoors along Bophut’s shores. When it comes to food, Gusto dishes up nothing but the best Italian fare, making it the perfect spot for couples keen on devouring wood-fired pizzas, homemade pasta and authentic Mediterranean fare.

There is one more 100% vegan place on Koh Samui (in Lamai area, just in 120 meters from Lamai Veggie which is the last one in this listing) — Yoga House & Spa (http://house-yoga.com/en/vegan-cafe). It is inside the yoga studio, just opened (July 2016), is cozy & nicely decorated, offers (mostly) European dishes & desserts from Monday to Saturday (11 AM — 7 PM).
Thank you for sharing about your vegan cafe Dmitry!
Thank you! Such articles are very useful. Would be twice great if you can add some info about Yoga House to your article… ;-) Photos and details are available by the link I've provided (or I can answer any questions you have).
Koh Samui photographers are really amazing photographers. They make the moment memorable for the rest of our life. Recently I attend my friend's marriage party, it was beautifully designed and maintained until the end. Thanks to Magic Day Co. Ltd Wedding planner to make her marriage memorable.
The boudoir was created by isabel and stephane in 2007.

Awesome article and such helpful information. Thank you so much for the topics and the content. It helps a lot, after I was hopping around the beaches on Samui. My favorite one was the naturism beach in the north. A small bay, only us and coconut trees. Oh, i really over the place. But now I am back in Canada and saving money for my next trip in 2 months. Last time I passed the chance to do my diving license on Koh Tao. That is what I need to do this year. If somebody has any suggestions, I will be very happy. Unfortunately, on the last day, I had booked a nice boat cruise tour from Samui to Koh Phangan, for a very fair price, and with excellent service. I saw too late, that this brilliant company https://kohsamui.tours offers all tours and activities like diving or jet ski safari around Samui Archipel. I start already to study a bit for my next stay and looking for your next blog posts. Have a good time and thanks for all.
Your Jason S.
Thank you very much for these extraordinary helpful articles, great pictures and advertised tours. Based on your information, we decided to take a guided boat tour through the Koh Samui archipelago. With https://kohsamui.tours we found a very cheap boat tour that we can really recommend. From the pick up to the food and the tour guide everything was sensational. We surprised, that everything was running so smoothly and comfortably. We never expect that Thailand has so much beautiful nature to offer that it is truly incredible. We are looking forward to further articles from you and read with great interest. Best regards and stay healthy.
This makes me miss Samui So much, Thank you for sharing such a great content
