With well-known venues like Haad Bang Po and Bang Po Seafood Takho located within proximity, you’re never too far away from an excellent seafood feast. Armando’s Beach Restaurant and Zazen are our top picks for seafront dining, and we like 4 Monkeys Coffee Bar for its funky décor, great coffee and smoothies. Make sure you try out an in-villa dining experience at least once; the intimate setting, along with private chef services and a customised menu create an incredible experience.
Of the beaches in North Samui, Mae Nam Beach is the most popular thanks to its family-friendly ambience, powdery white sand shores and scenic landscape. Further off westwards is Bang Po Beach, where leisurely beach walks are accompanied with views out to Koh Phangan. On the eastern end of the coast is Ban Tai Beach; quiet and remote, it’s a place that draws beach-goers seeking respite away from the crowds.
Away from the beach, try your hand at cooking Thai dishes, unwinding with a yoga class or spa ritual or immersing yourself in cultural sightseeing.
