Thank you for your interest in our villas. We look forward to speaking with you!
Baan Bao Talay is the more traditionally furnished of the villas at Dhevatara Cove, which is already evident at the entrance where you are greeted with an ornate gate and a landscaped garden.
Once you have stepped inside the magical splendour of Baan Bao Talay, you will enter the dining room. The dining room consists of a unusual teak dining table with bamboo inlays. This is complemented with the water hyacinth chairs. To the left of this exquisite dining area is the kitchen. Although this house is authentic in nature, the modern western appliances have been blended seamlessly into the design. There is also a flat screen TV mounted on the wall.
To the right of the dining room is a sleeping pavilion which holds four ensuite bedrooms on two floors. All of these rooms have flat screen TVs. Whilst all of them are decorated with dark wood furniture and authentic Thai ornaments, each room has a distinctive feature. The rear ground floor room has twin beds so is perfect for friends or siblings. This room's ensuite also has a separate tiled shower room. The front bedroom on the ground floor has a teak double bed and a spectacular ensuite. This bathroom has a free-standing bathtub, separate shower and an inner garden with an outdoor shower. The rear bedroom on the top floor is similar in layout and sleeping arrangements to it's counterpart on the bottom floor, except this room has a balcony for you to enjoy views over the front garden. The master suite at the front is spectacular, enjoying views over the front garden. The balcony here gives outstanding views over the garden, pool and out across the ocean. In the master's ensuite, there is a feature sunken bathtub and a shower room.
There is also a final bedroom suite, but this is on the other side of the dining area and across the large terrace. This double ensuite bedroom is magnificent, with a walk-in dressing area with an inner garden that contains an outdoor shower.
The lounge looks over the blue tiled swimming pool and water feature. The pool is surrounded by an expansive deck that has a multitude of sun decks and sun loungers to choose from. At the end of the pool is a sala, which has all the amenities and facilities that you could possibly need. This means that you have the ability to stay outdoors all day if you wish. The pool sala has a barbeque, all-weather outdoor furniture, and a bathroom. A private gate also leads down to the white sandy beach.
Baan Tao Talay is authentic whilst still maintaining it's luxury and modernity. This villa will truly make your holiday a memorable and enjoyable Thai experience.
BB is Paradise. The service is better than the Four Seasons, the food is better than anything I have ever had and the godess from above 'Joy' makes the whole holiday totally perfect. Spend some time in the Bunker watching the sunset, drink rum punches, light the lanterns, watch the fireworks and head to the 5 Islands for Lunch. Have never been somewhere so special and comfortable as this - Jo and David Forbes have impeccable taste and style.
Such an amazing Place, wonderful food and Such a pretty house.
We have just spent a week in this house, having been to Phuket which was also wonderful, but this is absolute heaven. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, delicious food and the most perfect setting. The house also provided a boat which took us to the most amazing deserted islands with beautiful beaches. We are definitely coming back!
I absolutely loved my stay at Baantaotalay. The villa is located in the most stunning setting with pool, private white beach and an amazing view out to sea..what more could you ask for. The staff were so nice, helpful and did everything for us, from booking massages to providing delcious cocktails for us every night. The food was scrumptious and you could have anything you wanted from the strongest curry to spag bol! What a great holiday it was, would defintely go back.
The beautiful villa and stunning setting makes Baan Tao Talay the perfect getaway for holiday with friends. We were looked after beautifully and the food was simply delicious. New year 2010 will definately not be forgotten and i hope i will be returning very soon!
