Baan Palm Tara is an outstanding beachfront retreat for those seeking an idyllic sanctuary away from the world. Located on the Northern coast of Koh Samui, it looks over Bangrak beach to the island of Koh Phangan.
Elegantly chic décor and Asian inspired artefacts grace the 3 well-appointed bedrooms in Baan Palm Tara. Each of these is furnished with a large King sized teak bed and a large LCD TV. They also have their own en-suite bathroom.
The villa’s living and dining area is stylish and comfortable, with classic refined design and décor. There is a TV lounge with a large 50 inch plasma screen, and plenty of plush sofas for guests to sink into. The formal dining room is a space of understated class, with a dining table that seats 6 beneath a sparkling chandelier. There is also an outdoors dining area on the spacious terrace that seats 8. For a refreshing dip, head to the crystal clear infinity pool located by the beachfront.
9.6/10the villa is big with a good layout. the pool is clean with beach access. the kitchen is huge with excellent cooking service. the chef cooks very good thai food. the wifi is free and fast. the only thing to bring up is the rain shower which is relatively weak. it will be great to have hand-held shower.
10/10We stayed at Palm Tara in April for just over a week, and it wasn't long enough!!! What an amazing villa! Right on the beach, with the most amazing infinity pool! Our 2 maids were so lovely, making breakfast every morning and fresh fruit juices to refresh us at lunch time. Always came home to neatly made up rooms and fresh towels. Was in a great, quaint location with all needs in walking distance including fantastic and super cheap Thai food next door, motorbike hire across the road, beach seafood restaurants, ATMs, SUP hire and the ferry wharf to Koh Phangah. The villa is located just under 10 mins from Chaweng, and 2 mins from Bophut fisherman's village. A beautiful villa i cannot fault and cannot wait to return too! Was very hard to return home.
10/10Great location you can walk out from the pool straight on to the sandy beach and walk out the front to bars, restaurants and massage parlours. You really could get away without hiring a car and having to brace the Samui roads! The staff are excellent and kept the place spotless they were also wonderful with children. I really can't think of anything negative to say about Palm Tara. We had a few power cuts but that was not down to the villa but to Samui electrics!
