A luxurious beachfront property in Bophut, Samui, Baan Mika is a stunning resort-style holiday villa with traditional, Thai pavilions that house the six bedrooms, as well as the open-plan living and dining pavilions. Your dreams of lounging beside the ocean are bound to come true as there are sunbeds facing the beach, an outdoor sala with alfresco dining, and a splendid 12-metre swimming pool that runs the length of the villa extending out to the ocean. All-in-all this is one exciting villa where you’ll be amazed at home beautiful nature can be as you will be closely connected to it!
Three bedroom pavilions hold the six bedrooms in place, each of them with semi, open-air en-suite bathrooms with tropical showers and/or freestanding bathtubs. Located on either side of the swimming pool, each pavilion is fully-functional with well-equipped en-suite bedrooms that are furnished with double beds, and one with single beds.
The rooms are air-conditioned and wooden sliding doors lead to the pool deck conveniently. These bedrooms are spacious and even feature comfortable sitting for guests where they can lounge, if not on the bed. Although it is unlikely you will stay indoors when you have the ocean right outside, even so the bedrooms are a sanctuary like no other!
The blue-tiled, 12-metre swimming pool not only runs parallel to the many pavilions at Baan Mika, but it lavishly seems to meet the ocean out front. The shallow end is great for kids, while the adults can enjoy swimming laps or splashing around! Soak up some tropical sun as you relax and rest up on the sun loungers found on the pool deck for a wonderful breather that you just can’t miss out on.
The most striking feature are the traditional, thatched-roof salas on either side of the pool. One sala houses a 12-seater dining table right beside the ocean, a bar, as well as a kitchenette and BBQ! Another sala, across the pool, holds a comfortable seating area from where you can enjoy a sunset!
The open-plan living and dining pavilion at Baan Mika is found right beside the pool with easy access in and out. The living room is furnished with royal-blue sofas and a flat-screen TV along with a DVD player, and a similar second seating area with even more plush couches and a TV. There are large glass windows that look out at the luscious greenery of the villa’s tropical gardens. A high-pitched traditional ceiling enhances the simple beauty of these elegant spaces.
There is another indoor dining area with a 12-seater dining table overlooking the gardens as well. You can choose to dine wherever you please, and even request for a personal chef to delight your taste buds with delicious food!
The staff at Baan Mika is excellent and offers five-star services to each of its guests, making sure that you remember this trip for a lifetime. An inclusive daily breakfast will wake you up in the morning, and housekeeping, maintenance as well as security will keep the villa clean and safe. You can even request for a personal chef, massages, babysitter, and car, if you wish however, these are at an additional cost.
The villa is ideally located near the Big Buddha statue, a renowned golden statue of Lord Buddha that is visited by hundreds and can be spotted from afar. Wat Plai Laem is also a Buddhist temple nearby that travellers often visit. You can even head to Choeng Mon beach for an easygoing day out and about on its sandy shores! If you happen to be there on Wednesday then the Night Market is the place to be!
10/10This place is too good to be true. The villa is probably one of the most impressive realestate available to hire. It's beautifully designed, Thai style but with a European touch. The rooms are huge with space for everything. The beds are super high quality , you sleep at night like a baby. The swimming pool is big and designed smart. The villa is equipped with the latest audio video equipment. The Jewell of the crown is the food, Best food you ever had in Thailand. The young chef is an expert not only in Thai cooking, but also in verity of international dishes. The kids love everything she made. We couldn't have enough. We chooses all dishes for meal the day we entered . We never got to eat the same dish twice. The Chef goes to the market every morning and buys the products fresh, needed for the meals. You can hire a car if you need to move around the Island, but other then that , you have anything you need in the Villa. We had great time in baan Mika , and we recommend taking the place
