Welkom in Baan Sawan, een vakantiehuis met drie slaapkamers, gelegen op een toplocatie in Bophut, Noord Samui. Vanuit uw villa geniet u van een ononderbroken uitzicht over de oceaan en de weelderige tropische omgeving. Baan Sawan is gebouwd om een vijfsterrenvakantie te bieden en is uitgerust met voorzieningen zoals een sprankelend overloopzwembad, een prachtig onderhouden tuin, onberispelijke service en goed ingerichte interieurs.
Zes gasten zijn comfortabel ondergebracht in drie slaapkamers, allen voorzien van pluche bedden, kwaliteitslinnen, hoge plafonds en een interieur met airconditioning. De aangrenzende en suite is uitgerust met twee wasbakken, een toilet en een bad of douche.

Een duik nemen in het zwembad krijgt een heel nieuwe betekenis in Baan Sawan - hier maak je een plons in een glinsterend overloopzwembad dat uitkijkt over de kustlijn van Samui. Na een duik leun je achterover tegen een ligstoel terwijl je geniet van het schilderachtige tropische landschap dat zich rond de villa ontvouwt. De ruime tuin met zwembad is ook een uitstekende locatie voor bruiloften, bedrijfsevenementen en feesten.
Elk van de leefruimtes voelt luchtig en uitnodigend aan, dankzij de hoge plafonds en brede ramen die veel zonlicht binnenlaten. De belangrijkste woonruimte herbergt een lounge en eethoek, en strekt zich uit tot een ruime veranda met alfresco dineren faciliteiten.
Een volledig uitgeruste keuken - compleet met een Lavazza koffiezetapparaat - maakt het mogelijk om zelf te koken. Je kunt het koken ook overlaten aan de befaamde chef-kok van Baan Sawan, die een indrukwekkend repertoire aan gerechten in petto heeft.
Baan Sawan is een full-service accommodatie. Een dagelijkse ontbijtservice en huishoudelijke diensten zijn bij uw verblijf inbegrepen. Faciliteiten beschikbaar tegen extra kosten zijn onder andere persoonlijke chef-kok diensten, luchthaven transfers, persoonlijke chauffeur diensten, autoverhuur, kinderoppas diensten en wasservice.
Uw villa manager zal u graag helpen met het regelen van uw tour boekingen en vervoer behoeften, evenals in-villa massages, in-villa yoga sessies, tennis coaching en de huur van een baan en voetbal training voor kinderen.
Baan Sawan ligt in Bophut, Noord Samui. De belangrijkste trekpleisters van de stad zijn Bophut Beach en Fisherman's Village; de eerste is een gouden kust die zich uitstrekt in een boog tussen Mae Nam en Bangrak, terwijl de laatste is een charmant centrum bekleed met traditionele winkelhuizen en moderne vestigingen. Er zijn talloze restaurants, bars en chique boetieks, en een gezinsvriendelijke omgeving die zich leent voor vakantiegangers van alle leeftijden.
Stap uit om de lekkerste gerechten van het eiland te proeven in de restaurants in de buurt. Wij houden van June's About Art Cafe voor zijn gezellige sfeer en gezonde biologische gerechten, Café De Pier X Samui voor zijn tapas en cocktails, Il Salotto voor Italiaanse gerechten vergezeld van een adembenemend uitzicht op zee en Karma Sutra voor zijn chille vibes.
U bent op een steenworp afstand van yogastudio's, kookstudio's, high-end spa-locaties, culturele bezienswaardigheden en nog veel meer. Island Organics, gelegen op ongeveer 15 minuten rijden, is een geweldige plek om zelf Thaise gerechten te proberen. De Yogarden Samui heeft een verscheidenheid aan yogalessen voor beoefenaars van verschillende stijlen en niveaus. Stap in de auto voor een ritje van 15 minuten naar The Sarann Spa om u te laten verwennen door massages, gezichtsbehandelingen en melkbaden.
Plan uw dagtocht rond attracties als de Secret Buddha Garden, Lad Koh Viewpoint, Big Buddha en Wat Plai Laem. Deze attracties liggen in de noordoostelijke en centrale regio's van het eiland, op minder dan een uur rijden van uw villa. Fanatieke duikers en freedivers zullen genieten van een uitstapje naar het naburige eiland Ko Tao, een bestemming die bekend staat om zijn kristalheldere water en overvloedig onderwaterleven en koralen. De veerboten vertrekken vanaf Mae Nam Pier, en de rit duurt ongeveer een uur en 45 minuten.
10/10It is our second stay at the villa with my parents and our friends, and everyone spent a great time! Baan Sawan is very tastefully decorated, with high ceilings and an open space. The garden and the infinity pool add to the charm of the villa. And it has one of the best views on the island! Adding to all these nice features, is the attentive service of Star and Levy, the house managers. It's very quiet and yet a few minutes' ride away from Bophut's Fisherman Village, and the nearest supermarket. We have looked around at similar types of accommodation (villas, private or in hotels), and Baan Sawan has by far the best value. We all hope to come back next year!

10/10If you are looking for a relaxing holiday spot then this is the place for you. The villa is absolutely stunning! It is superbly located on a small mountainside over looking Bophut Bay. Only a 10 minute car ride from the airport We weren’t sure whether to book a sea or mountain villa however we were really pleasantly surprised how lovely it was staying higher up. The views were simply the most stunning views we’ve ever seen. The villa is very accommodating and has an excellent open floor plan. It worked extremely well as there was also another family staying with us. We had ample space and didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. The décor was also exquisite. With a mix of Thai and contemporary it really felt like we were somewhere special. Another favorite thing about our holiday was the lovely villa manageress and her husband! They certainly went the extra mile and made sure everything was just perfect. Star made the best cocktails and was such a brilliant cook. Levy was just so good with the kids and took them for rides on his motor bike. Oh how I wish We could take Star and Levy back with us . Our kids really miss them so much. We had the best holiday ever and couldn’t have chosen a better location and villa to make this all happen
10/10Just stayed at Baan Sawan for 2nd time. The weather was excellent and enjoyed the swimming and garden very much. The pool has an amazing view over the ocean and Koh Phangan. The staff at Baan Sawan were fantastically helpful as ever and Star is an excellent chef. I would really recommend the BBQ's and Thai curries!
10/10Thank you Star and Levy for such a wonderful holiday. The view from the villa literally took my breath away! Every thing we needed for the two babies under two was there at the villa- from toys to monitors, cots to cups, anything we needed was there. The villa is beautiful and tranquil, the pool spectacular, the gardens immaculately maintained and the kitchen fully equipped to cook up a storm. Star can arrange whatever you need- trips, taxis, even a massage while the children nap.. Bliss! Thank you again and we will see you soon!!
10/10just the perfect place if you want to enjoy fantastic family holidays !!!!! incredible view, so nice employees (thank again Star, Levy and Joy - for the baby sitting), the villa is perfectly maintain full with flowers, many toys for our kids, very good food, everything to make us happy ... If like me you are doubting to come because of the commentary "terrible" just forget it, we had the true story : it was a gay couple that was " destroying" the house after invited a lot's of local people from a disco ... so if you are a normal family (especially with young kids) or a romantic couple that want to be pamper for few days, that is the place to be ! But if you are going to kho samui to leave very "special" experience with local people, make mega fiesta non stop ... find another place, because this villa is really quiet, really nice and far away from the crazy koh samui ....
10/10My husband, our 1-year old and I stayed 1 week at Baan Sawan together with my sister, her husband and two kids (4 & 6) The house was very nice and clean, there were pretty flowers for us when we came. Star and Levi (The house keepers) are very sweet and caring, they took good care of us and especially our little boy. We had a great time there and would very much like to come back sometimes. Because the villa is up in the mountains you need to drive every time you want to go somewhere, but this is not a problem because Star will book a car for you. She is so helpful
10/10Just had the best week at Baan Sawan, awesome location with stunning views over Bo Phut and out to sea. Villa was always clean and top selection was served for breakfast. Star and Levy were very friendly and helpful. Ozzie the dog was an unexpected bonus. Hope to go back.
10/10The views and location of this villa together with the exceptional service provided by the hosts Star and Levy. She made it so easy to relax and enjoy the family time together. Together they arranged everything and to have breakfast laid out every morning in front of the view was such a treat. She is a spectacular cook and organised all the food shopping so all we had to do was sit down and relax and enjoy it. This made being on holiday with grandparents and no husband a dream as everything was taken care of. I will defintely be back again with my husband next time so he can enjoy their hospitality too and of course the views! I wanted to wrap them up and take them home.
10/10This was our third visit to Baan Sawan Villa, and although it had been 7 years since our last visit, the villa, the staff and the whole experience was still as lovely as we remembered. The villa is as beautiful as ever; well appointed and extremely comfortable. The huge, lush, green garden had matured and was a stunning decadent addition to the terrace and pool area. The views across the valley below the pool terrace, out to the Bohphut beach and the islands beyond were magnificent, both day and night. The on-site staff: Star and Levy went above and beyond to assist in any way they could; including preparing delicious meals, organising a private chef to come to the villa, suggesting restaurants and making reservations where necessary, as well as keeping the villa, the pool, terrace and garden looking immaculate for us, throughout our stay. All of this was done with minimum fuss, and intrusion and always in a friendly and helpful way. A car is advisable as the villa is situated at the top of a long, steep hill, high in the hills overlooking the Bohphut area and beyond (but this is one of the things that makes it so spectacular). Levy arranged this for us in advance and a suitable vehicle was delivered to the villa on our first morning. Levy was kind enough to drive for us, when we didn't feel like driving, or the desire for a few cold beers with dinner was too much! A car gives you the flexibility to visit other beaches and other parts of the island, none of which are very far (it took us less than 1hr 15 minutes to drive around the whole island). Driving is on the left and is easy and we never had any issues finding suitable parking. There is really nothing I can add, but to say that I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you decide to visit. Hopefully we will be returning soon.
