Thank you for your interest in our villas. We look forward to speaking with you!
Baan Rattana Thep is an eclectic mix of styles that can be found in all parts of South East Asia.
Once inside, you will first be greeted with the large solid wooden dining table, with bench seats. Around this beautiful seating area are a mix of Asian style ornaments such as ceramic pots, Thai figurines and abstract art pieces. The kitchen is separated from the dining room by a glass and dark wood sliding doors. The kitchen has wooden units with shiny black surfaces and also has a flat screen TV mounted on one wall.
To the right of the dining room, there are two ensuite bedrooms. The bedroom in the rear end of the house has twin beds and has dark wood with orange and green accents. The room at the front has a traditional style four poster bed. Other than the flat screen TV, the furniture in this room is all authentic antique pieces, such as the gold painted bedside cabinet. There's a walk-in dressing area and the ensuite is magnificent, with a free-standing bathtub and a beautifully landscaped inner garden which contains an outdoor shower.
There are stairs that lead up to two more bedrooms, each with their own special unique feature. The bedroom in the rear is an ensuite twin bedroom with a balcony that gives wondrous views of the front garden. The master bedroom at the front has a careful selection of antique furnishings as decoration, such as an unusual glass lamp. There is also a flat screen TV and a slate tiled balcony that has a modern table and chairs overlooking the garden, pool and ocean.
As you walk through the dining area and down the stairs, there is a further ensuite double bedroom, with more antique furniture and a plasma TV.The ensuite bathroom is magnificent, as it has a free-standing bathtub and an inner garden with an outdoor shower with a carved sandstone wall feature. A planted feature separates this from the living pavilion, which again hosts a stunning range of artefacts, with ornate chairs and comfortable upholstered sofas. The end of the lounge looks out towards the sea through an outdoor sala, which has outdoor furniture such as a dining table.
To the right of the living pavilion is the blue tiled infinity swimming pool with an expansive sun deck that surrounds it with a sun loungers. There is a further outdoor sala that has all the amenities and facilities you could possibly need, so you can spend your whole day outdoors! This includes a kitchen, bathroom, barbeque, and all weather garden furniture. From the outdoor sala, there are steps that lead to an outdoor shower as well as the gate which provides direct and private access to the white sandy beach.
First time here at this villa, just as beautiful as the pictures on website. it is what it is! Love the service and the food. The team of chef and staff really knows our taste buds after ordering our first meal. The property is kept immaculately clean and the staff are there for us anytime and for anything! We came with 6 small children all under 3 years old to 3months old. great place for family gatherings. staff here are helpful with the children and made us all feel at ease all the time! Love the lush gardens and clean beach, so beautiful to wake up to! we will definitely come back over and over again.
We enjoyed this villa vacation very much. So very comfortable and relaxing. The staff were personable and really took care of all our needs without any imposition what so ever. The rooms are large and comfortable. I told the manager that the villa is even nicer than what we saw on the internet pics - usually we experience the opposite. However, we were surprised to see the huge ferries from Java (that run and all day and evenings) dock just feet away from us. So while we are beach people - it wasn't the best of beaches - we stayed away and used the pool and grounds more during our stay.
We chose this villa because it is located a little off the beaten track ( on the beach of Lipa Noi, on the West Coast ) . So there are fewer people , it's a little harder to move (it is recommended to rent a car is really not expensive - we drive on the left !) But it was peace. We wanted a place to raise a family usually dispersed throughout the world , and it was perfect because the service is impeccable , the equipment is lavish and delicious cuisine . We let ourselves truly live , enjoying a hotel service - but "at home" . In addition, sea sunsets are wonderful, the beach is directly below the house and is sandy , with little slope without vase or rocks ( ie not as most of the time in Koh Samui !! !) : ideal for young children.
