Villa Gamay is een strakke, designvolle villa met uitzicht op zee aan het strand van Plai Laem, ontworpen voor een ontspannen tropisch leven met een subtiel luxueus tintje. Strakke betonnen lijnen, brede glazen deuren en een zacht, neutraal interieur zorgen ervoor dat de aandacht blijft liggen op wat echt telt: ruimte om tot rust te komen en die weidse oceaanhorizon voor de deur. De dagen hier verlopen meestal in een aangenaam ritme: koffie op het terras, een duik in zee wanneer je daar zin in hebt, en daarna een drankje bij zonsondergang terwijl de baai goudkleurig kleurt.
Villa Gamay beschikt over drie ruime tweepersoonsslaapkamers, die stuk voor stuk zijn ingericht in hetzelfde rustige kleurenpalet van fris wit, zacht grijs en warme houten accenten. Elke kamer heeft een eigen badkamer, zodat de ochtenden soepel verlopen, zelfs als het huis vol is.
Twee slaapkamers komen direct uit op het terras, dus om van het uitzicht op zee te genieten hoeft u alleen maar de glazen schuifdeuren open te schuiven. De badkamers stralen pure luxe uit, met dubbele wastafels, grote spiegels en inloopdouches achter matglas: praktisch, privé en met het comfort van een hotel.

Het terras vormt het hart van de villa, met als middelpunt een privé-infinityzwembad dat rechtstreeks uitkijkt op de baai. Er is een ontspannen mix van zitjes met kussens en ligstoelen, zodat de groep zich kan verspreiden zonder het gevoel te hebben dat ze uit elkaar vallen.
Glazen balustrades zorgen ervoor dat het uitzicht ononderbroken blijft, en de strakke lijnen van de villa creëren een gevoel van privacy zonder de bries te blokkeren. Naarmate het licht verandert, komt deze ruimte pas echt tot zijn recht: een duik in de late namiddag, gevolgd door een soepele overgang naar een drankje bij zonsondergang terwijl het water beneden schittert.
Binnen straalt Villa Gamay een open en uitnodigende sfeer uit, met een royale woonruimte die via brede schuifdeuren direct uitkomt op het zwembad. De woonkamer is gemaakt voor ontspannen vakantiedagen, met diepe banken, zachte texturen en een uitzicht dat altijd in beeld blijft, of het nu een stralend blauwe dag is of de avondverlichting aan de overkant van de baai.
Naast de keuken staat een lange eettafel, perfect voor een gezamenlijk ontbijt, kaartspelletjes of langdurige diners wanneer thuisblijven het beste plan lijkt. De keuken is strak en functioneel, met een groot kookeiland en veel werkruimte, ideaal voor alles van eenvoudige gezinsmaaltijden tot het ontvangen van een privékok.
De villa wordt ondersteund door een attent team dat ervoor zorgt dat alles soepel verloopt, zodat u zich vanaf de eerste dag in goede handen voelt. U kunt erop rekenen dat de basiszaken met zorg worden geregeld: denk aan opgeruimde ruimtes en een huis dat altijd fris aanvoelt en klaar is om van te genieten.

Het strand van Plai Laem is een geweldige uitvalsbasis aan de noordoostkust van Koh Samui: dicht bij alle drukte, maar toch rustig genoeg om je echt even helemaal weg te voelen. Je bent slechts een korte autorit verwijderd van Choeng Mon, waar je kunt zwemmen en strandclubs bezoeken, en van Fisherman’s Village (Bophut) voor zonsondergangen, winkelen en ontspannen etentjes.
Voor een uitstapje in de omgeving zijn de nabijgelegen Big Buddha en Wat Plai Laem klassieke bezienswaardigheden op Samui en ideaal voor een vroeg bezoek voordat het te warm wordt. Wanneer je terugkeert naar Villa Gamay, is het terras met uitzicht op zee een sterke reden om thuis te blijven, vooral zodra de lucht van kleur begint te veranderen.

10/10Where the gods would like to rest. Everything perfect, from breakfast, to the excellent house, noble spaces, fantastic rooms, swimming pool, the brutal view, the best is impossible. Stayed a few days, an experience to repeat without a doubt!

10/10The view is good, here you can experience a sea view, a coast view, a sky view, as well as aircraft taking off and landing. A private swimming pool is also included in the room, with very clean water. The room is cleaned to a very high standard for us to check in, with complimentary mini bar and tropical fruit. Most importantly, staff here are very nice and friendly, you can reach to them with anything that you don’t know or not sure. They are always there to help. They planned our leisure activities, made our breakfast (western or Thai ), recommended good restaurants, booked taxi, etc. It is my second time in Samui and fourth time in Thailand, I would definitely recommend to you to live here for your holiday.
10/10I have personally stayed in some amazing places around the world but this Villa easily takes the cake. If you are thinking of visiting Ko Samui or are coming for the first time you HAVE to stay in this Villa because the experience is truly amazing. The Villa itself is brand new and feels so luxurious. It faces Bangrak and you can see fisherman and fishing boats coming and going from the wee town there, you truly get a different perspective and experience with the view from here. The views from the kitchen/dining area that open up out to the infinity pool are absolutely phenomenal. It faces west so at night you have a beautiful sunset you can enjoy whilst you eat dinner that can easily be brought to you by the house manager for a really good price. The house manager Ong is lovely and is here to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, I wanted a massage everyday so she arranged for a masseuse to come by the house. Ong also has staff who work full time tending to the Villa and can do things like cook breakfast on request each morning, it was great waking up to food and a clean kitchen everyday! The Villa is also fully serviced every three days so its always immaculate and you never have to get your hands dirty which makes the holiday that much more relaxing. Location is perfect as well, you are about a 5 min drive from all the action and the roads to the Villa are easy to drive and accessible. The gym is also brand new and has all the equipment you need to do really good workouts if you are that way inclined. There are also Kayaks you are allowed to use anytime to take out on the water and the tide is always high to be able to do this. Would highly recommend this accommodation it is perfection in every way! We will be visiting again later on in the year for another 6 weeks because we enjoyed it that much.
10/10Vila Gamay, just remember this name and add it to your bucket list , it’s THE best Vila in Samui. I have stayed for a few days at this amazing hotel and couldn’t leave ! Stepping through the entrance , i was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly team, very welcoming atmosphere, the location is fantastic . The staff were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greet and smile. The breakfasts were amazing. The location was superb ! Luxurious beach front vila , 5 stars ! well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. Defenitly a dream comes true can’t wait to go back !!! Thank you for an amazing experience
