We have just returned from 8 nights staying at the simply stunning Villa Champak. This was an extended family holiday of 13 people ranging from 8 to 8...
Villa Champak is located in the North of Koh Samui, in Ban Mae Nam, and enjoys 25m of beach frontage. It also looks over the gulf of Thailand, over to Koh Phangan. Villa Champak also features a salt water pool, which is shielded by pavilions on three sides, affording guests plenty of privacy.
There are 5 bedrooms in Villa Champak, 3 of which are fitted with King sized beds, and the remaining 2 are fitted with twin beds. They are all air conditioned and attached to ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom also opens up to an outdoor veranda.
The living and dining spaces are housed in a pavilion with high timber ceilings and decorated with tasteful pieces of oriental art and artefacts. A lovely round dining table seats 10, and after dinner, guests can retire to the lounge for TV or drinks. Alfresco dining is also available in the open air lounge.
We have just returned from 8 nights staying at the simply stunning Villa Champak. This was an extended family holiday of 13 people ranging from 8 to 80 (6 kids (8 to 17) and 7 adults). The villa is contemporary with a traditional feel to it, set in the area of Mae Nam, which is quite traditional and not as touristy as other areas in the north of Koh Samui. This villa can sleep up to 14 people comfortably, the bedrooms and bathrooms are huge and the pool runs down the centre of the villa. This was perfect for our group as the kids are all confident in the pool and we wanted lots of interaction within the group. The villa is probably located in front of the best section of the beach with views to Pha Ngan island. The staff here go above and beyond anything you could expect. Our villa manager made our stay so special, attending to our every need and going out of her way to ensure we were enjoying our stay. She really became part of our family and the kids cried when it was time to leave. A representative from the complex management team dropped in every few days to check all was okay and the general manager provided some added extras during our stay that made the trip amazing. The housekeeping and kitchen staff were fantastic and the massage ladies some of the best I have come across (worth paying the extra $$ for). Our trip was made so special due to the efforts of staff and management at this complex and we hope we get the opportunity to visit again. WE LOVE VILLA CHAMPAK :-)
