Baan Apsara is a 3-bedroom private villa in Plai Laem Beach, set up for easy days that revolve around sea views, pool time, and unhurried meals together. The look is clean and modern, softened with Thai touches and plenty of glass doors that keep the outdoors close.
The villa’s heart is an airy, open living pavilion that opens onto a wide terrace overlooking the Gulf—perfect for sunrise coffees and sunset drinks without leaving home.
Baan Apsara has three bedrooms, designed with calm colours, polished wood floors, and big windows that keep the rooms bright. The setup suits a mix of couples and kids, with comfortable sleeping options and space to unpack. Two bedrooms feature double beds and open to a shared terrace, making it easy to step outside for fresh air and views. The third bedroom has twin beds, ideal for children or friends sharing.
Each room comes with a private ensuite bathroom for privacy and smoother mornings. One bathroom includes a bathtub, while others feature sleek showers and plenty of vanity space. For families, two rooms can be interconnected, a practical detail that helps parents stay close while everyone still has their own space.
15 x 3 m
The outdoor space is centred around a 15-metre infinity pool facing the sea, with a long deck that’s made for slow laps and long afternoons. It’s the kind of view that resets your pace the moment you arrive.
A line of sun loungers with umbrellas runs alongside the pool, giving you both shade and sun without needing to move far. There’s also a green lawn that adds space for kids to play or for the group to spread out. Up on the main terrace, cushioned seating creates an easy spot for sunset drinks and chats that run into the evening. From almost every angle, the villa keeps the ocean in sight, one of Baan Apsara’s best features in Plai Laem Beach.
Inside, Baan Apsara is laid out for together time: a spacious open-plan pavilion with generous seating, a round dining table, and wide doors that slide open to the terrace. The high, pitched ceiling keeps the space cool and relaxed even in the midday heat.
The dining area is set up for easy group meals, whether it’s takeaway after a beach day or a proper dinner at home. Nearby, the modern kitchen is fully equipped and practical, with lots of counter space for prepping snacks and tropical fruit. For downtime, there’s a separate TV lounge / media room with comfortable sofas, ideal for movie nights, kids’ cartoons, or a quiet break from the sun. The overall feel is simple, warm, and built around holiday routines that don’t require effort.
Your stay at Baan Apsara includes housekeeping, helping keep day-to-day details easy while your group focuses on relaxing. The villa also has 24-hour security for extra peace of mind. Optional services can be arranged at an extra cost, including a private chef, in-villa massages, and family-friendly support like a babysitter. These are especially handy when you want a slower day at the villa without planning too much.
If you’d like to keep everything seamless, our Villa Finder Concierge can help organise practical holiday needs in Koh Samui—like airport transfers, a driver for day trips, scooter or car rental, and restaurant bookings around Plai Laem Beach. It’s support that removes friction, so your time stays where it should be: with your people.
Baan Apsara sits in the Plai Laem Beach area, a convenient base on Koh Samui’s north-east coast with quick access to beaches, casual dining, and short drives to livelier spots. You get the calm of a residential hillside, with plenty within reach.
Head out for beach time at Choeng Mon, known for its easygoing vibe and swim-friendly bays. For a change of scenery, Secret Beach is a lovely option for soft sand and those late-afternoon skies Samui does so well. When you feel like exploring, it’s easy to mix villa days with simple outings, cafes, small markets, and low-key local restaurants nearby. Then come back to Baan Apsara for the best part: a sunset swim and dinner at home with the view.
10/10Very nice spot and close to the beach. The villa is beautiful with a large outdoor area and is even prettier than the photos. It is very quiet and peaceful with a very nice view and comfortable rooms. We were a group of 5 and had more than enough space and spent lots of time in the villa. The staff were responsive and we had daily cleaning, with everybody being extremely helpful.
9/10The villa is very well located and offers a magnificent sunset. We love the location but the pool terrace could do with a makeover
10/10Great villa with fantastic pool and lush grounds overlooking the water and mountains in the not to distant background. Wonderful sunsets, great location & friendly staff.
10/10Super stay at this lovely villa. Large gardens, which really felt like an oasis. Mrs Mon and Mr T who looked after us were so fantastic too. Jeremy from the villa company couldn’t have been more helpful too. Fab location between Choeng Mon and Bo Phut - although suggest a hire car to make things easy. We had a fab time.
