Villa Ban Mekkala es un magnífico refugio frente al mar en la playa de Bang Kao, Samui, con sus costas de arena que terminan donde comienza la propiedad de la villa. Con seis habitaciones situadas alrededor de los jardines, la villa ha sido diseñada para aprovechar al máximo su abundancia natural. Los pabellones del salón y el comedor, de diseño tradicional, le sorprenderán con sus cálidos interiores que le harán disfrutar de un ambiente confortable.
Las seis habitaciones del jardín se encuentran alrededor de la piscina y los jardines tropicales de la Villa Ban Mekkala para facilitar el acceso y ofrecer una amplia privacidad. El dormitorio principal es el más espectacular de todos, con una cama tamaño king, habitaciones privadas y un lujoso baño en suite. Dos dormitorios se encuentran en el pabellón principal, mientras que los otros cuatro están un poco más abajo.
Tienen aire acondicionado para mantenerlos frescos durante las horas punta de la tarde o a lo largo del día. Las grandes puertas correderas de cristal permiten la ventilación y la iluminación natural durante el día. Los cuartos de baño en suite están equipados con bañeras independientes y otras comodidades necesarias.

Desde el pabellón del salón y el comedor, la terraza contigua conecta con el patio interior a través de una escalera que conduce a los exuberantes jardines tropicales. Se han cuidado y recortado para que tengan un aspecto fresco y bien mantenido, con flores florecientes, palmeras y un denso follaje. Una piscina infinita se encuentra en los jardines y se extiende hasta el océano para ofrecer una experiencia de ensueño. La playa está justo enfrente de la periferia de la villa, por lo que puede bajar fácilmente si lo desea. En la terraza de la piscina hay tumbonas para descansar y tomar el sol, y un tobogán tubular perfecto para los niños.
El pabellón principal de Villa Ban Mekkala es una maravilla tradicional con un techo de madera de gran altura adornado con una impresionante lámpara de araña de cristal. Las puertas de madera talladas a mano y la distribución diáfana contribuyen al encanto y el esplendor de este magnífico y acogedor espacio. Hay sofás en los que podrás descansar e incluso echarte una siesta, mientras disfrutas de la brisa fresca y natural y de las vistas al jardín. En la terraza contigua también hay tumbonas para que puedas descansar al aire libre.
En cuanto a las comidas, la villa se enorgullece de ofrecer una opción muy atractiva. Hay una espléndida mesa de comedor con capacidad para 12 comensales, un comedor interior en el pabellón principal y una cocina occidental totalmente equipada a tu entera disposición , que cuenta con todos los electrodomésticos y comodidades necesarios.
La villa está lo más cerca posible de la playa y, por ello, ofrece numerosos servicios para que aproveches tu estancia de forma útil y entretenida. Los huéspedes tienen a su disposición kayaks y tablas de paddle surf para dar una vuelta por el canal náutico privado. Con acceso directo a la playa, dispones de todo el tiempo del mundo para disfrutar de verdad de la vida tropical. Sin embargo, durante la marea baja, el arrecife de la playa se extiende hasta 100 metros, dejando al descubierto un amplio espacio para realizar diversas actividades y explorar las pozas entre las rocas. También es una gran oportunidad para que los niños recojan marisco de forma segura y disfruten de la emoción de descubrir la vida marina. ¡El personal es muy amable y te ayudará en todo lo que necesites!
The villa is located on Bang Kao beach which is a tranquil spot for a relaxing holiday with loved ones. For sightseeing, you can visit the Laem Sor Pagoda for a cultural trip through Thailand's many exciting traditions.
10/10Shared a luxurious stay at lovely Ban Melaka to celebrate a friends 50th….and it was perfect. The villa is gorgeous, exceeding all expectations. The pool is huge and perfectly maintained. Each meal was better than the next. The staff was what truly made it special led by the incomparable Fai. They made the birthday celebration iconic and our stay one of the best vacations I’ve ever been on. Thank you Fai and team.

10/10Simply incredible. We had such an amazing experience with family and friends. Not only the place is beautiful and has everything you could want for a great vacation, the staff is out of this world and brings you luxury, comfort, care, kindness with the best service ever. We felt like princesses and princes. Food was exquisite, we had massages, they helped organize transportation, tours and everything we possibly could think of. My children were also pampered and had an amazing time.

10/10I can say without any hesitation that my stay at Ban Mekkala was the best holiday I've had. A large group of 11 of us stayed here over Christmas and New Year and the house quite exceeded all of my expectations. Beautifully situated in a quiet and peaceful part of the island, the house was tranquil and luxurious in equal measures. Separate sleeping quarters gave us the privacy we needed but big communal spaces meant we could comfortably relax together. The house has fantastic facilities, including one of the most beautiful swimming pools I've ever seen, and the moment you step off the property you find yourself on an exquisite beach, which is calm and unspoilt.
10/1011 of us spent 2 weeks over Xmas and new year in this wonderful villa by the sea in the quiet south of Koh Samui. Beautifully designed with care and no little artistry, this is a simply fabulous place to unwind, rest, heal and restore. Lots of spaces to gather communally or read on your own, the inviting sea before you, the infinity pool is quite fabulous and, at around 20m in length, is able to accommodate lap swimming. What raises this villa from the merely fabulous to the simply sublime are the charming, helpful and thoughtful staff who discreetly tend to your every need: the fabulous cooking of Tum the chef; the lovely cleaners Sai and Kai; the helpful driver Eak; the cheerful and ever smiling Coco who tends the garden; but rising above even all of these wonderful people is the delightful Fai, the villa manager, who made our holiday the success it was by her patient answering of all our many questions and requests we bombarded her with on a daily basis. Thank you Fai. Thank you Ban Mekkala for the lingering memories.
10/10We had an amazing time at Crystal Villa. We had a group of 10 girls and everyone enjoyed our stay at the villa. The view is amazing (with glimps of sunset) as we are on the hill top. The pool feels like an infinity pool with great view. Most importantly, the staff are all very friendly and excellent cooks. We went out for a couple of meals and still felt the food at the villa are better than the food at the restaurant, so we ended up eating at the villa most of the time. Great way to spend your vacation!
10/10My extended family of 9 stayed in this wonderful Villa for one week in June 2014. This turned out to be the proverbial "vacation of a lifetime". The Villa and staff exceeded our high expectations. The Villa manager, Fi, and her staff responded to all of our needs and desires. We had virtually all of our meals at the Villa, and I must say, the Thai and western food was absolutely superb. We decided not to rent a car, and instead used the Villa driver and van for excursions on the island. This was a really good move, and I'm glad that I did not have to drive in sometimes hectic road conditions. Fi accompanied us on all trips, including several to a tailor, where we all had custom fitted suits and dresses made. The outdoor cinema, which uses a projector and a large roll down screen, is terrific as we enjoyed movies most evenings via our iPhones and iPads using Apple TV. Before arriving at the Villa, we stayed several days in Bangkok. We never saw a military person or a demonstration, and always felt secure. Bangkok hotels and restaurants were almost empty, and we were treated like royalty. In my opinion, this is a wonderful time to visit Thailand.
10/10This villa is a very rare find....amazing beachfront which is perfect for long walks and a lush and spacious property perfect for a holiday get-away. We stayed with three other couples and all of our children....relaxing and many activities at your fingertips. The living area both near the kitchen and beside the pool is very comfortable with friendly staff who are excellent cooks. We look forward to returning!! Many thanks again
