Villa Karpe Diem es el tipo de alojamiento vacacional de lujo que te hace dejar de desplazarte por la pantalla y empezar de inmediato a imaginar tu próxima escapada familiar a la playa de Chaweng. Se trata de una casa moderna y luminosa situada en la ladera, con varias terrazas, enormes paredes acristaladas y ese gran océano azul justo delante de ti, como si lo hubieran reservado especialmente para tu viaje.
Lo que realmente destaca de Villa Karpe Diem es la fluidez entre el interior y el exterior, además de la sensación de amplitud por donde mires. En la playa de Chaweng, tienes el bullicio cerca, pero aquí estás por encima de todo ello, con unas vistas tranquilas y ventiladas que te acompañan durante todo el día.
Villa Karpe Diem cuenta con cinco dormitorios, todos ellos con un ambiente limpio, luminoso y discretamente elegante. Encontrarás varias habitaciones con camas con dosel de ensueño, cálidos suelos de madera y grandes ventanales que traen el océano directamente al interior, lo que transmite a la perfección el espíritu de la playa de Chaweng.
Un par de suites son especialmente amplias y cuentan con zonas de estar, escritorios y esas puertas correderas de cristal que dan a las terrazas. El espacio de almacenamiento también es generoso, incluyendo un vestidor con caja fuerte, por lo que deshacer las maletas para unas vacaciones más largas resulta fácil, en lugar de caótico.

El espacio exterior de Villa Karpe Diem gira en torno a esa larga piscina situada al borde del acantilado, con la mirada puesta directamente en el horizonte. Cuenta con amplios escalones de acceso a la piscina, taburetes en el borde del agua y una gran terraza que hace que tomar un café al amanecer y relajarse al atardecer resulten igual de tentadores en la playa de Chaweng.
En la terraza hay tumbonas alineadas con toallas de piscina enrolladas, además de asientos a la sombra y un rincón para comer al aire libre bajo un pabellón techado. Las barandillas de cristal permiten disfrutar de unas vistas ininterrumpidas al mar y, por la noche, la iluminación de la piscina convierte toda la zona en un lugar de reunión realmente atractivo para tu alquiler vacacional en grupo.
En el interior de Villa Karpe Diem, la sala de estar principal es espaciosa y acogedora, con techos de doble altura, un gran sofá modular azul y puertas correderas que se abren de par en par a la terraza. Hay un televisor montado en la pared para los momentos de descanso, pero, sinceramente, las vistas al mar siempre acaban acaparando toda la atención.
La cocina es elegante y realmente práctica, con acabados brillantes en blanco y negro y una gran isla con taburetes, ideal para tomar un tentempié o un desayuno sencillo. Se trata de una cocina totalmente equipada, perfecta para familias y grupos a los que les gusta mantener un ritmo de vacaciones relajado, sobre todo después de pasar el día en la playa de Chaweng y volver.
Se trata de un alquiler vacacional con personal, y el cuidado por los detalles se nota en todo, desde las habitaciones perfectamente preparadas hasta las superficies pulidas que hacen que todo el lugar transmita una sensación de frescura. El servicio de limpieza está incluido, por lo que tu grupo podrá centrarse en darse un baño, disfrutar de las vistas y decidir quién prepara el próximo café.
Villa Karpe Diem también cuenta con un sistema de seguridad que te da tranquilidad, acorde con una estancia de lujo en las colinas de la playa de Chaweng. Si necesitas ayuda para personalizar el viaje, el equipo de conserjería de Villa Finder puede encargarse de los aspectos prácticos, como traslados al aeropuerto, alquiler de coches y servicios turísticos locales, para que tú solo tengas que llegar y disfrutar.
Alojarte en Villa Karpe Diem te permite estar cerca de la animación de la playa de Chaweng, sin dejar de sentirte agradablemente alejado cuando buscas tranquilidad. Imagínate días de playa, salidas rápidas a tomar un café y tardes en las que puedes volver a sumergirte en la acción para luego retirarte a tu terraza privada con vistas al mar.
La playa de Chaweng es también un punto de partida ideal para explorar la costa y los miradores de Samui, con multitud de lugares para comer y comprar a poca distancia en coche. El mejor plan es muy sencillo: haz una excursión en condiciones cada día y luego vuelve a la villa para disfrutar de un baño en la piscina al atardecer y de una cena tranquila con vistas al mar que hará que todos quieran quedarse más rato.
10/10We spent 2 nights at the Villa and given the choice we could have stayed there forever ... well almost. The Villa is built over two levels, perched on a hill top with amazing sea views. There are pools on both decks with a gym and jacuzzi on the property. Accommodation consists of 4 large bedrooms with complete privacy. There are no other properties overlooking the villas and we had un-interrupted sea view. The airport pickup and drops were well organised and the guest relations and staff were courteous and helpful. We initially wanted to explore the restaurants but having eaten in house, we dropped the idea completely. Aoy and Met (the house keeper and cook) treated us like royalty. We were treated to the best Thai cusine ever and they even indulged our requests for special dishes not on the menu. The menu itself is extensive. It is very unlikely that guests will eat out, once you have tasted the food here. The staff can cook up a range of starters and none of them fail to deliver. Our personal favorites were Steamed Sea Bass, Soft Shell Curry Crab, Beef Salad and the Steamed Spring rolls. Mango sticky rice for dessert is an absolute must. Overall, the experience was extremely good and I would go there again !!! You should too ... Oh and there was a Pool Table and Wifi (for those of you who want to stay connected)
10/10We went to villa Karpe Diem as a family and it will remain an unforgettable memory for all of us. To live and enjoy the moment , that's what we were looking for. We only stayed for a few days and were really sad to leave this magical place, perched on the hills of Chaweng Noi, between the sea and the sky, with 180 degree ocean view and 2 infinity pools which gave us space and privacy. Everything was thought of for comfort and well-being in this prestigious villa, from a warm welcome to a refined interior design, a gym, spa and massage area, not to mention the deliciousThai cuisine prepared by Aoy and Met which we just couldn't get enough of! A big thank you to both of them for their attention to details and discretion. We will definitely tell our friends and family members and hope to be back next year!
10/10We are spending 5 days here with family, and after just one day, I felt obliged to write a review. The staff are just amazing, we are ending up eating each meal here by the pool. There is a storm on its way, and it’s a bit windy, but th layout of the villa allows us to do all sorts of things and enjoy ourselves to the max. This is a gem of a place, and very close to being in paradise. Having a truly wonderful holiday given we have travelled all the way from Normandy, and recommend it to all our friends and family. It is simply perfect.
