9.8/10We are a group of 7 people and everyone had a memorable time. Service was top notched from the moment we got picked up at the airport to the moment we got sent off to the airport. Joy and the crew took great care of us like we were their family. Communications with them were flawless. From food ordering to cooking to cleaning to events booking, the service team went above and beyond in ways that every detail of service is impeccable. In fact, the food that Mai cooked was so perfect that we had every breakfast and dinner at the villa. We even had Christmas dinner at the villa and celebrated with their children. The villa, albeit a bit dated, is huge and nestled up in a secluded mountain with an expanded ocean view. There’re enough bedrooms for all of us to share, all of which have ocean view. Great to just relax in the room. There’re also plenty of space for us to do yoga. The pool is just icing on the cake. It’s so incredible that we spent more time in the villa than we had originally planned to. This is a great luxurious villa and I would definitely come back again!
10/10Incredible spot, most likely one of the best view of the island. We took all 7 rooms, for 14 persons, and our experience has been a real pleasure. The swimming pool is even bigger than the ones from the hotels nearby :D And visiting the island with a scooter is really a must-have experience. The in-villa cooking chef prepared delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch and even dinner. Amazing food. The villa staff was always here to help and very nice with us. Really enjoying spending time with these local people, and know a bit more about their local life. We give a rating of 5 stars out of 5, and we can only recommend anyone, wishing to spend some time in Koh Samui to come to this luxury place, called Baan Jakawan.
8.8/10Its one hell of a place to visit! Never been to a better Villa than this one. The rooms the pool the view everything about is simply amazing. Warm welcome by the staff. Our manager was ‘Beer’ who was always very helpful and warm. Other staff was so courteous and did everything that was asked for. We just tried lunch once at the villa and it was decent, if you plan to relax and not go out you can have it at the villa. All in all its a fantastic villa. Surely I would recommend anyone to go there and have a great time.
10/10From the moment we arrived at the airport, my group and I were absolutely pampered. The staff truly made the week one that we will never ever forget. They were so helpful, kind and respectful of all of us. They made everything so simple and enjoyable. Our villa, Baan Jakawan, was just breathtaking. Every room was incredible. We truly had no complaints about the villa! The pool was more than we could've ever dreamed it would be and the facility as a whole was just spectacular!
10/10My friends and I were very much looking forward to this vacation, and we were not disappointed. The Villa, View, and Service surpassed our expectations! The Villa Manager and her staff (6 people) catered to our every need from arranging in-house massages to private boat charters to neighboring islands. Chef Un is an artist in the kitchen - no need to dine out. He can cook everything from western breakfast to traditional homestyle Thai dinners. I definitely recommend you have him throw some meats on the BBQ. Each morning they will ask us what foods we wanted and they would drive down to the market and purchase the freshest seafood and meats on the island. Overall, Baan Jakawan is true luxury living in paradise. The Villa has a traditional Thai feel with all the touches of a modern mansion. Each bedroom suite has ample privacy from the other rooms. The staff, more so than the amazing view, made our 5 days a fantastic visit.
10/10Baan Jakawan was an absolutely fantastic villa that fit the needs of our group perfectly. Staff were extremely professional, friendly and completely went out of their way to help attend to any needs we had. The in-house chef cooked us up some unbelievable meals during our stay (her lobster dish was out of this world!!) The villa lived up to every expectation and more, we would most definitely go back to Baan Jakawan again and would highly recommend it. All in all an amazing holiday and one that will never be forgotten! Thank you Luxury Retreats!
10/10Our stay was perfect – the staff and the villa could not be faulted – the staff were professional, extremely friendly, extremely helpful and never stopped working. The cleanliness of the place, the facilities (especially tv/stereo setup in each room, the pool and bool bar), the food the chef cooked, the maintenance of all villa facilities and overall service from all staff was excellent - better than any 5star hotel any of us had stayed at. The villa was better than what we expected and would definitely go back there again or recommend to anyone travelling to south-east asia.
